Nofia: End of provisional administration, capital raised to 8.2 billion FCFA with CBT as majority shareholder

Nofia SA announced on September 11, 2026, in Douala, the end of its provisional administration after increasing its capital from 1.2 billion to 8.2 billion FCFA, representing a 583.3% increase. As of June 30, 2026, Nofia had implemented 77% of the recommendations from the Central African Banking Commission (Cobac). The institution was placed under provisional administration on June 25, 2025, for an initial period of six months.
