Police detain new suspect in Anambra over nursing student’s murder

The Anambra Police have arrested a new suspect, Kosisochukwu Ibekwe, aged 26, in connection with the murder of 23-year-old Vivian Chilaka, which occurred on June 14. Ibekwe allegedly attempted to sexually assault the victim before stabbing her to death during a struggle. The landlord of the house, previously interrogated, has been exonerated of any involvement in the case. The investigation continues to verify claims of other similar crimes in the community.
