Sanitation: Zamfara records milestone, adopts new strategies

The Zamfara State Environmental Sanitation and Enforcement Agency (ZEPEA) will adopt a new strategic approach to the monthly environmental sanitation exercise following significant improvement in public compliance. The agency's chairman, Muhammad Zangina Abdullahi Yarin Gusau, disclosed this after the successful July exercise in Gusau, represented by Permanent Member I, Alhaji Sani Muhammad Mayanci. He stated that the high compliance level indicates residents are now better informed about the importance of sanitation. The agency is considering a new dimension to further strengthen and sustain the sanitation programme across the state.
