A joint operation by the Ivorian National Police and Interpol freed 16 trafficking victims, including 10 minors, in the village of Grand-Jacques in Jacqueville. The victims, 11 Togolese and 5 Ghanaians, were recruited in Aflao under false promises of jobs in fish processing. Four Ghanaian suspects (three men and one woman) were arrested and brought before the Economic and Financial Criminal Court.
