Ebola: Roger Kamba condemns visa ban on all Congolese as discriminatory

Minister of Public Health Roger Kamba condemned as discriminatory the visa ban imposed on all Congolese by some countries due to the Ebola outbreak. He stated there is no scientific or health reason to deny a visa to a citizen living far from the affected areas. The epidemic is currently contained in the provinces of Ituri, North Kivu, and South Kivu. Communication Minister Patrick Muyaya said the government is continuing discussions with US authorities to lift the measure.
