Walikale: Two soldiers sentenced to death for the assassination of their commander

The military court in Goma sentenced two soldiers to death for the assassination of Captain Musanga Bebeto, as well as for criminal participation and the dissipation of war munitions. Three other soldiers received ten years of hard labor, while five others were sentenced to ten months. The events took place on October 30, 2025, in the village of Lukole during operations against the AFC/M23 rebels.
