DRC: CORAP launches its "White Paper" as a foundation for a Congolese vision of a just transition

The Coalition of Civil Society Organizations for the Monitoring of Reforms and Public Action (CORAP) launched its "White Paper" on a just transition in the Democratic Republic of Congo in Kinshasa. This sixty-page reference document aims to establish a status report on the just transition and encourage a national dialogue for a development strategy. Emmanuel Musuyu, executive director of CORAP, emphasized that the just transition must respect communities while allowing resource exploitation. The Deputy Minister in charge of the New Climate Economy also praised this initiative.
