NFF warned me against inviting Mikel, Enyeama and Emenike, says Oliseh

Former Nigeria coach Sunday Oliseh says the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) warned him not to invite John Obi Mikel, Vincent Enyeama and Emmanuel Emenike, whom it considered a source of problems. Oliseh says he regrets not following that advice: he travelled to France to speak with Enyeama and to London to meet Mikel and Victor Moses, but Mikel did not attend or reply to his message. He called Mikel’s absence a major insult but said he did not take it personally, and praised Emenike as respectful and influential in Nigeria’s 2013 Africa Cup of Nations victory.
