Palace: Mamadou Kassé received by President Bassirou Diomaye Faye

Mamadou Kassé was recently received by President Bassirou Diomaye Faye at the presidential palace. While his official agreement to work with Diomaye within the ruling party has not been confirmed, all signs suggest a decision is imminent. During a meeting in Tambacounda, Kassé and founding mayors of the RPR expressed their support for responding positively to the President's outreach. He is expected to soon declare his support for the President of the Republic.
