Women's Volleyball: Egyptians Win 2026 African Championship

Egypt won the 2026 African Women's Volleyball Championship by defeating Kenya in the final with a score of 3 sets to 0 (25-22, 25-15, 25-15). The Egyptians finished the tournament without losing a single set, achieving seven victories in seven matches. This fourth continental title qualifies them for the Los Angeles 2028 Olympics and the 2027 FIVB Women's World Cup. Mariam Metwally was named MVP of the tournament.
