After 12 years of waiting, 35-year-old Bedriya Adem gave birth to quintuplets at Hiwot Fana Specialized Hospital in the Harari regional state. The five newborns, four boys and one girl, are doing well despite their fragile weight of 1.3 to 1.4 kg. This multiple pregnancy, which occurred naturally, is considered an extremely rare event, with chances of about one in 55 million.
