DRC: Media Invited to Contribute to Clear and Verified Information on the General Census

On September 30, 2026, in Kinshasa, Ministers Guylain Nyembo and Patrick Muyaya held a dinner with press officials to discuss the media's role in supporting the second General Population and Housing Census (RGPH‑2). They urged professionalism, accuracy, and vigilance against misinformation in reporting on the census. Discussions included distinctions between statistical census, administrative identification, and electoral enrollment, as well as cartographic enumeration. Media representatives committed to providing clear and verified information, with an upcoming workshop to deepen their understanding of the RGPH-2 process.
