In June 2026, Nigeria produced 1.56 million barrels of crude oil per day, exceeding OPEC's quota by 4%—the best performance in 74 months. Including condensates, total output reached 1.74 million bpd. The NUPRC attributed the improvement to stable production operations and reduced pipeline disruptions, aided by security measures involving ex-militants in the Niger Delta.
