Plane reportedly carrying Bolsonaro makes brief stop in Ecuador

The private plane reportedly carrying defeated right-wing presidential candidate Flavio Bolsonaro made a brief stop in Guayaquil, Ecuador, on Wednesday. Argentina’s government said the senator boarded the Baires Fly S.A. flight in Puerto Iguazú with his wife and two daughters, despite a court order barring him from leaving the country. The flight landed shortly before 4 a.m. local time and then took off again. Bolsonaro’s final destination is unknown, while the US State Department said it would issue visas to him and his family.
