Kabund criticizes the plan to transfer the DRC embassy from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem: 'The friendship between the Congolese and Israeli people does not need a relocation'

Jean-Marc Kabund, president of the Alliance for Change, criticized the plan to transfer the Democratic Republic of Congo's embassy from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem, stating that the friendship between the Congolese and Israeli peoples does not depend on the location of the diplomatic representation. He also emphasized that the status of Jerusalem should not be unilaterally decided by the current government, accusing Félix Tshisekedi of neglecting international law and Congolese diplomatic tradition.
