Police warn residents against obstructing federal highway in Kebbi

The Kebbi State Police Command has warned residents against obstructing traffic on the Kebbi–Sokoto Federal Highway, stating offenders will face arrest and prosecution. The warning follows a suspected Lakurawa bandits attack on a construction site along the Sokoto–Badagry Road, which resulted in four workers being killed. Police Commissioner CP Umar Muhammed Hadejia urged the public to act responsibly and respect the rights of other road users, also appealing to parents to prevent their children from joining unlawful gatherings along roadsides.
