Veteran coach Abdu Maikaba has been appointed as the new head coach of Bayelsa United. He will combine this role with his duties as head coach of the Flying Eagles. The club, relegated from the NPFL last season, has tasked him with ensuring an immediate return to the top flight. Maikaba has previously managed several top NPFL teams, including Akwa United, Rangers, Kano Pillars, and Wikki Tourists.
