NTSA Updates Process of Verifying Imported Cars Under e-Logbook System

The National Transport and Safety Authority (NTSA) has announced new measures to verify the legitimacy of imported vehicle logbooks before local registration. The e-Logbook system, set to launch on June 10, 2026, will allow vehicle owners to view and download their digital logbooks for free via the eCitizen portal. Additionally, vehicle ownership transfers will be completed within one working day, and traffic officers will be able to instantly verify vehicle details using a QR code.
