EFCC assesses terrorism financing risks in Niger NPOs

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has begun assessing the vulnerability of non-profit organizations (NPOs) in Niger State to terrorism financing. This exercise is being conducted by the commission's Special Control Unit against Money Laundering to identify gaps that could allow legitimate organizations to be exploited for illicit financial activities. EFCC delegation leader, Assistant Commander Tope Erinnomo, met with Niger State Government Secretary Alhaji Abubakar Usman to discuss this initiative.
