Teachers Threaten to Paralyse Learning From Monday in Labour Day Plea to Ruto

Teachers across Kenya have vowed to escalate their protests starting Monday, May 4, urging President William Ruto to address their concerns. George Osura, Executive Secretary of KUPPET, emphasized the need to confirm intern teachers and increase their salaries, which are currently deemed insufficient. Teachers are also calling for salary adjustments for all and the autonomy of junior secondary schools.
