Benin: The former party of Yayi Boni does not give voting instructions but observes both camps

As the presidential election on April 12, 2026, approaches, the party 'Les Démocrates', led by Nourénou Atchadé, has chosen not to officially support either of the two competing duos. While they acknowledge that the candidates' programs incorporate several fundamental demands, the party positions itself as an 'interested observer'.
