Thirlwall inquiry report into nurse's crimes due to be published

The findings from a public inquiry into Lucy Letby's actions at Countess of Chester Hospital will be published today. Letby, serving 15 whole-life prison terms for murdering seven babies and attempting to murder seven others, was moved to administrative duties in July 2016 after concerns were raised by consultants. The inquiry, led by Lady Justice Thirlwall, examined safeguarding failures and may recommend changes across the NHS.
