Northerners to blame for insecurity in region - Lamido

Former Jigawa State Governor Alhaji Sule Lamido blamed the persistent insecurity in Northern Nigeria on poor leadership and moral decay. In an interview, he stated that Northerners must take responsibility for the security crisis, emphasizing that Boko Haram members and bandits come from within the region. Lamido also supported the establishment of state police, stressing the need for proper training.
