NOUN bursar, Nasiru Marafa shot dead in Zamfara

The Bursar of the National Open University of Nigeria, Nasiru Gusau Marafa, was shot dead in Zamfara State. According to a statement from the university's Registrar, Oladipo Ajayi, Marafa was killed while returning from Gusau, the state capital. Appointed bursar on September 17, 2022, he was scheduled to serve until September 2027. The university expressed condolences to Marafa's family and the wider university community.
