Kenya's Anti-Counterfeit Authority (ACA) has urged businesswoman Shiquo wa Hii Style to build her own fashion brand within the country's intellectual property framework, following a raid on her Nairobi CBD shop. ACA welcomes her entrepreneurial vision and advises her to protect original designs through trademark registration with the Kenya Industrial Property Institute (KIPI). The authority noted that seized goods are preserved pending full investigation, and will be released if found genuine.
