CS Chirchir Denies Links Between Chivayo and Ksh154 Billion JKIA Expansion Project

Transport Cabinet Secretary Davis Chirchir denied links between controversial Zimbabwean businessman Wicknell Chivayo and the expansion of Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (JKIA), stating that his company neither submitted a bid nor participated in the tender process. The government assured transparency in the bidding process, complying with the Public Procurement and Asset Disposal Act.
