Meet Nigerian-American Ugo Ugochukwu crowned 2026 FIA Formula 3 Champion

Nigerian-American racing driver Ugo Ugochukwu has been crowned the 2026 FIA Formula 3 Champion after finishing second in the final race of the season in Madrid, Spain. At 19 years old, he became the first American to win this title, finishing 14 points clear of British driver Freddie Slater. Ugochukwu started the season with a victory in Melbourne and also triumphed at Silverstone before clinching the championship in a tense finale.
