Prometal and ProAlu: announced financings reach approximately 80.6 billion FCFA since September 2025

Since September 2025, the total announced financings for Prometal SA and ProAlu SA amount to approximately 80.6 billion FCFA. A renewable facility of 40 million euros (about 26.2 billion FCFA) was granted to Prometal by Afreximbank to fund its working capital, while 54.4 billion FCFA had previously been allocated for the construction of the ProAlu factory in Douala. These financings pertain to separate projects: the factory construction for ProAlu and operational funding for Prometal.
