Palmer, Joao Pedro feature in Madonna film after World Cup omission

Chelsea forwards Cole Palmer and Joao Pedro appear in Confessions II – The Film, a promotional short film by Madonna released after both were omitted from their countries' squads for the 2026 FIFA World Cup. Palmer missed England's final squad due to injuries and competition, while Pedro was overlooked by Brazil despite scoring 20 goals in the season. The film, premiered at the Tribeca Festival, also features actor Benedict Cumberbatch. Madonna, a Chelsea fan, is set to release her album Confessions On A Dance Floor: Part II on July 3.
