Barcelona: giant human tower welcomes Pope Leo XIV before 40,000 young people

Nearly 40,000 young people gathered at the Olympic Stadium Lluís Companys in Barcelona for a prayer vigil presided over by Pope Leo XIV. The pope appealed for solidarity in the face of psychological and social difficulties affecting European youth. The event opened with a nine-level human tower, about twelve meters high, involving over a thousand participants.
