FG to spend N250b on hostel construction in tertiary institutions - Alausa

The federal government announced that about N250 billion will be allocated for the construction of hostels in tertiary institutions this year. During the soil-turning ceremony for the Tertiary Education Trust Fund (TETFund) hostel development projects at Lagos State University (LASU) and Yaba College of Technology, Minister of Education Dr. Maruf Tunji Alausa emphasized President Bola Tinubu's commitment to youth empowerment. In total, 500 hostel spaces will be built across over 50 institutions, with a particular focus on public-private partnership (PPP) projects.
