CAF Cup: CR Belouizdad falls at home

CR Belouizdad lost 0-1 to Zamalek in the first leg of the CAF Cup semi-final held in Algiers. The only goal of the match was scored by Juan Bezerra in the 28th minute. Despite increased pressure in the last quarter of an hour, the Algerians failed to equalize, with a goal by Belhocini being disallowed by VAR. The Chababistes will need to turn the situation around in the return match to hope for a spot in the final.
