Transfer: Nigerian midfielder completes move to Libyan Club Al- Ittihad SC

Nigerian midfielder Onuche Ogbelu has joined Libyan giants Al-Ittihad SC on a permanent transfer. The 23-year-old signed a three-year contract after leaving Tunisian side Esperance following the expiration of his contract. He joined Esperance from Nasarawa United in 2023 and scored two goals in 54 league appearances. Ogbelu represented Nigeria at the 2023 Africa U-20 Cup of Nations, with the Flying Eagles finishing third.
