Absa Faye, Senegal's First Lady, launched the Impact'Elles association in early July to promote female entrepreneurship. Less than ten days later, Marie Khone Faye received at the Palace the winners of the Miss Maths and Miss Sciences contests, Khadidiatou Kâ and Sokhna Mame Bousso Mbacké, to highlight academic excellence and girls in science fields.
