JAMB lifts SIM, email change ban, gives candidates fresh directives

The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board, JAMB, has lifted its restriction on SIM swapping and email changes, allowing candidates who have lost access to their registered details to update them. The new arrangement started on September 21, 2026, and is applicable to candidates unable to access their registered phone numbers or email accounts. Candidates must provide a new GSM number and/or email address along with a court affidavit to request the change.
