Guy Marius Sagna praises Sonko’s firmness on the supplementary and initial finance laws

Deputy Guy Marius Sagna praised Pastef and its leader, Ousmane Sonko, for their firmness in discussions over the supplementary finance law (LFR) and initial finance law (LFI), saying it reflects a commitment to defending Senegalese citizens’ interests. In a Facebook post, he noted that the party had not shown the same determination in seeking to lead the government and hold most ministerial positions. Sagna said Pastef’s political strength should serve the people rather than be devoted to securing posts, and urged members to be proud of the party and Sonko.
