Operatives of the Special Anti-Kidnapping Unit arrested four suspects in Asaba, Delta State, recovering $1,600 in counterfeit US dollars. The suspects, Joshua Nwaosa, Daniel Arhewe, Prince Chukwuma, and John Egwuba, were arrested on June 9, 2026. They confessed to operating from a hideout in Asaba, where counterfeit notes and military camouflage were seized.

NDLEA destroys illicit drugs worth N2.8bn in Edo

'Stop making peace deals with bandits' – Senate warns states
