NAFDAC uncovers another illegal herbal products factory in Lagos and arrests manager

NAFDAC uncovered and sealed an illegal herbal products factory in Agege, Lagos State. Three unregistered products were reportedly made in unhygienic conditions, and one displayed the registration number of an approved cough syrup. Manager Abulaziz Sayidu was arrested for questioning, while the alleged owner, Ashietu Adams, was said to have fled to Ghana. NAFDAC is investigating and urged consumers to verify products through its official platforms because registration numbers can be copied.
