Libya: meeting between chiefs of staff of rival authorities from East and West

In Sirte, General Salah Eddine Al-Namroush, head of the UN-recognized Libyan army, and General Khaled Haftar, son of Marshal Khalifa Haftar, met for talks aimed at strengthening security coordination and accelerating the reunification of Libyan armed forces. Members of the Joint Military Commission, the Joint Military and Security Committee, and representatives of UNSMIL attended. No details of the discussions have emerged.
