Ronaldo suspended by Portugal FA after leaving camp and criticising coach

Cristiano Ronaldo was provisionally suspended by the Portuguese Football Federation after leaving the training camp following a disagreement with head coach Jorge Jesus. The federation initiated disciplinary proceedings against him after he left before a Nations League match against Denmark, claiming Jesus had promised him a substitute role. Ronaldo admitted that leaving the camp was not the best decision but accused Jesus of breaking his word multiple times. He has since returned to his club, Al Nassr, and scored in a 3-0 win over Diriyah.
