Anambra arraigns eight alleged to be fake pastors

The Anambra State Government has arraigned eight pastors arrested across Onitsha, Awka, and other parts of the state for alleged violations of the state's 2025 Homeland Security Law. The defendants, including Peter Chukwu, Chinedu Egwuonwu, and Bishop Emeka Nwankpa, were brought before a court in Awka on Friday. State Attorney General and Commissioner for Justice, Tobechukwu Nweke, SAN, is leading the prosecution. The arraignment is part of an ongoing crackdown on activities considered harmful to public order and security.
