Nigeria: Army Rescues 22 Kidnap Victims in Niger

The Nigerian Army rescued 22 kidnapped victims in Muchiya village, Rafi Local Government Area of Niger State, during a fighting patrol on September 15. Troops acted on intelligence regarding the convergence of terrorists in the area and pursued them, recovering three abandoned motorcycles. The rescued individuals were handed over to the Muchiya community and reunited with their families, while one victim, identified as Alhaji Hassan, was evacuated to a clinic due to injuries sustained in captivity.
