Troops recover bodies of two police personnel after terror attack in Katsina

Troops of the Nigerian Army recovered the bodies of two police personnel after repelling suspected terrorists along a key route linking Katsina and Kano States. The incident occurred around 1:30 a.m. on April 8, when troops of the 17 Brigade acted on intelligence about armed men setting up a roadblock. After firing warning shots, the attackers fled, leaving behind the bodies of the police personnel, which were later handed over to the local police officer.
