Algeria coach Brahim Hemdani has reportedly added two dual-national defenders to his expanded squad ahead of the 2027 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers against Togo on November 14 in Tizi-Ouzou and November 17 in Lomé. The players are 25-year-old centre-back Abdelnour Soualhia of Telstar and 24-year-old left-back Fahem Benaïssa-Yahia of Mantova, both born in France to Algerian parents. Each has made ten club appearances this season, scoring once and providing one assist. Franco-Algerian players Rafik Messali, Ilyes Hamache and Kelyann Bezahaf are also reportedly under consideration.
