Canada has recognized Morocco's Autonomy Plan as a credible basis to resolve the Western Sahara dispute during a call between Foreign Affairs Minister Anita Anand and Moroccan Foreign Minister Nasser Bourita. This decision is part of a growing support, with at least 120 countries endorsing Morocco's autonomy plan. Recently, Mali also withdrew its recognition of the Polisario Front, calling the autonomy plan the only credible framework to end the conflict.
