Atiku slams Tinubu over 21-day absence from Nigeria

Atiku Abubakar, the 2027 presidential candidate of the African Democratic Congress, criticized President Bola Tinubu for his 21-day absence from Nigeria. In a statement, he referenced Section 145 of the Constitution, which requires the president to transmit a written declaration to the President of the Senate and the Speaker of the House of Representatives during vacations. Atiku pointed out that no letter had been shown to transfer presidential authority to Vice President Kashim Shettima.
