Senegal: "a lack of respect, it's unacceptable," Patrick Vieira outraged by question about his two "has been"

During a press conference after Senegal's 1-0 victory over the Comoros, Patrick Vieira strongly reacted to a journalist who called Idrissa Gana Gueye and Kalidou Koulibaly "has been". Vieira condemned this term as a sign of disrespect to these players, emphasizing their significant contributions to Senegal's football history. He stressed that they are exemplary both on and off the pitch and asked the journalist to use different words. The tension eased when Vieira discussed the healthy competition among players, viewing their performance as beneficial for the team.
