One Pupil Killed, Several Injured in Kibirigwi Accident Along Kenol-Marua Highway

A tragic accident occurred last night at Kibirigwi in Kirinyaga County along the Kenol-Marua dual carriageway. One pupil died on the spot and several others were seriously injured when a speeding vehicle lost control and rammed into pupils from Kibirigwi Junior School and some parents. The injured were rushed to hospital, while angry residents blocked the Sagana-Karatina road in protest. Authorities have been deployed and motorists advised to use alternative routes.
