OpenAI is developing a smartphone featuring artificial intelligence agents, according to analyst Ming-Chi Kuo. Qualcomm and MediaTek are reportedly involved in co-developing the processors, while Luxshare Precision Industry will handle design and manufacturing. The smartphone will replace the traditional app grid with a home screen displaying tasks managed by AI agents. Mass production is not expected to begin until 2028.
