'2026 Hajj applicants to get priority consideration for 2027 pilgrimage' — Bauchi Pilgrims Board

The Bauchi State Muslim Pilgrims Welfare Board has assured intending pilgrims who paid for the 2026 Hajj but were unable to travel that they will receive priority consideration for the 2027 pilgrimage. Executive Secretary Imam Abdurrahman Ibrahim Idris announced an initial Hajj deposit of N7 million, with a minimum of N4 million for those unable to pay the full amount immediately. Registration began on July 13, 2026, and will end on September 25, 2026. Visa processing for the 2027 pilgrimage will close on January 28, 2027, and airlift of pilgrims to Saudi Arabia is scheduled to start on April 8, 2027.
